I bought this hat because I have the exact same one but in women's. We recently started going kayaking and hiking and this hat is perfect to keep the sun out of your face and off your head. Its a plus that you can use the back for your pony tail by putting your hair up! I also use this for gardening too and it really helps! This hat fits my 8 year old DD's head perfectly. I don't think she'll be able to wear it for years to come by any means but its perfect fitting for this year which is what I wanted.
